United States Naval Officer, NASA Astronaut, test pilot and intergalactic marathoner, Sunita Williams is the Commander of upcoming NASA Expedition 32, due to launch this spring.
Logging serious hours per spacewalk, Williams would spend more than six hours at a time outside the spacecraft. She continues to inspire because at 47, she pushes the boundaries of exploration, research and discovery, and even our ideals.
And who else would think of running the Boston Marathon in space?
We love amazing people and the holidays are coming: who doesn’t need a little inspiration? They’re not rocket scientists (we posted an ad for NASA looking for some earlier in the week) or brain surgeons: just about a hundred people with wacky talents all in under five minutes. And who doesn’t love DJ Tiesto?
